County employees and attend all staff meetings. The Assistant <br />Director.(now Director) has just recently completed a two year term <br />as the Department on Aging representative for the Orange County <br />Employees Consortium. <br />Resource Development, Fund Raising <br />As a result of efforts by the Advisory Council and staff, RSVP has <br />excellent local financial support (565 of the RSVP budget). Local <br />government sponsors regard RSVP as a vital community resource. <br />Staff and Council members have also assisted in fund raising efforts <br />for the New Chapel Hill Senior Center the future location for RSVP. <br />Project Management <br />The goals and objectives are realistic based on professional staff <br />size. As has been noted earlier in this report, this year has seen <br />changes in our staff. A new director has been hired and a search is <br />on for an assistant director. Clerical staff was reduced due to <br />health reasons, and Peggy Shock was recently hired to fill that <br />part -time position. We were understaffed approximately 6 months of <br />the year. lori ventura is now the part -time literacy coordinator. <br />The staff has plans to devise a simplified system for listing agency <br />needs and job descriptions and part -time help will be used for this. <br />FN:RPGRANT\EVRP9293 <br />• <br />16--C. <br />
