Total proposed grant is $86,439, with $36,269 <br />from Orange County, $12,277 from Chapel Hill, and $900 from Carrboro. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />This is a yearly Continuation Application covering volunteer services <br />provided by 493 retirees serving approximately 58,630 hours for 60 <br />non - profit organizations in Orange County. The RSVP objectives will <br />include recruiting, placing, and recognizing these volunteers. <br />Impact: There would be no major increase in County match funds for the <br />continuation of the program next year, other than RSVP staff merits and <br />cost of living increases. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): <br />Manager recommends approval and authorizes the Chair to sign application <br />and Notice of Grant Award. <br />
