L�l• I <br />STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE <br />AGREEMENT <br />Whereas, the non- profit corporation, association, or organization <br />described below has requested an appropriation from the Town of Carrboro; and <br />Whereas, the Town has determined that said corporation, association, or <br />organization can and will perform for and on behalf of the Town certain <br />services that the Town itself is authorized to perform and has therefore <br />indicated its approval of this request by an appropriation in the budget <br />ordinance for fiscal 1992-93, as amended; and <br />Whereas, the Town of Carrboro desires to insure that funds will be used <br />for the purposes intended by the Town in making this appropriation and for <br />no other purposes; <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of an appropriation in the amount of <br />$500.00 the following non - profit corporation, association, <br />or organization, hereafter described as Grantee, agrees and promises to abide <br />by the following conditions: <br />1. Grantee will perform the services or achieve the undertaking <br />described in Attachment A in the manner and according to any time schedule <br />therein provided. <br />2. Funds may be released monthly, quarterly, or according to any other <br />schedule deemed appropriate by the Town Finance Officer. If required by the <br />Finance Officer, Grantee shall submit a written request for each fund <br />distribution, and any such request shall contain a certification that the <br />Grantee shall use the funds received only to provide the services described <br />in Attachment <br />3. Not later that March 31st of the current fiscal year, or such other <br />time as specified by the Town Finance Officer, the Grantee shall account to <br />the Town of Carrboro for the use of the funds appropriated by the Town by <br />:....:.... <br />01 furnishing a detailed description, quantified to the extent practicable, <br />of the extenti to which the Grantee has performed services for or on behalf <br />of the Town of Carrboro or its citizens during this fiscal year, and (ii) <br />providing the Town with a copy of Grantee's most recent audit, financial <br />statement, or other financial information requested by the Town Finance <br />Director. <br />4. Grantee will not discriminate against any individual on the basis <br />
