I <br />Recommended Committee Structure and Schedule <br />The committee should be composed of approximately fifteen <br />individuals. most or all of whom have some background or <br />expertise in areas related to the work of the committee. <br />including; <br />1) professionals in fields related to the committee's <br />charge (e.g. environmental sciences. planning) <br />2) representatives of environmentally concerned groups <br />(e.g. Sierra Club. Triangle Land Conservancy) <br />3) representatives of groups whose activities have potential <br />ground and surface water impacts (e.g. farmers. <br />developers) <br />4) members of citizens groups (or individual citizens) with <br />some relevant background, who are interested in the <br />committee's charge (e.g. League of Women's Voters) <br />It is recommended that one commissioner serve as a liaison to <br />this group. <br />The committee is to be appointed at the Commissioners' <br />meeting on April 21. It is anticipated that'the committee <br />will meet for 12 -18 monthsv with five meetings scheduled <br />between the beginning of May and the end of November 1992 so <br />that the committee will be in a position to present a status <br />report in December 1992. <br />CWRC0309 <br />3 <br />
