Page 10 <br />4. provide consultation Bind /or technical assistance to HHOC on <br />an as- needed -basis in the development of the lots. <br />s., Waive building permit tees. <br />Following the guideline of Habitat international, HHOC will build <br />houses for low- income families on some or all of the eight lots. <br />Duties of HHOC will include, but are not limited to the following: <br />is Build houses on the lots that are comparable to the subsidised <br />houses in the Culbreth Park subdivision. <br />3. Abide by the restrictive covenants a■ not forth 'by the <br />Culbreth Park Camunity Development Corporation. <br />30 Give preference in selecting applicants to current residents <br />of public housing. If there are no qualified applicants who <br />are residence of Public housingq►, HHOC will make a good faith <br />effort to find low - income families currently living or working <br />in Chapel Hill. <br />4o Camplete two hous4M by December 31, 1993 . and to complete <br />construction on all lots by December 31,'1995. <br />In the event HHOC is enabim to construction on all lots by <br />December 31, 1996, the undeveloped lots will be. retained by <br />the Town. The Town will constiiuot low- income houses on any <br />late it retains. <br />6. Provide the Town with s @mi- annual status reports until all <br />lots are completed. <br />60 Assign interest in the properties to the Town, in the event <br />HHOC cease to exist a$ an organisation or be declared <br />insolvent, or liquidate all or substantially all of its <br />assets. The Town will use such interest or proceeds for <br />similar low-income housing purposes. <br />The HHOC And the Town agree to indemnify, and hold each other <br />harmless from all loss, liability, claims or expense (including <br />reasonable attarney's fees) arising from any and all. <br />representations and activities relating to the transferring of the <br />eight lots for the construction of Habitat houses. <br />
