4 <br />3. Execute a Cooperation Agreement between the Orange <br />County Housing Authority and Habitat for Humanity which <br />will outline when property will be transferred to <br />Habitat for development. (In this regard, Habitat has <br />suggested utilizing the form of a recent agreement <br />between Habitat and the Town of Chapel Hill for the <br />transfer of eight lots in the Culbreth Park subdivision. <br />A copy of the Chapel Hill agreement is enclosed as <br />Attachment 3.) <br />SUMMARY <br />The critical decision to be made is whether the County <br />wishes to retain ownership of the property until such time <br />that Habitat and KNDA are ready to begin development, or <br />whether the BOCC wishes to convey the property at this time <br />to the Housing Authority to hold until such _time that <br />development plans are clear. <br />
