The use or occupancy of this dwelling for human <br />habitation is prohibited and unlawful. Removal of this placard <br />is prohibited and unlawful." Penalties shall be determined in <br />accordance to Section 17.5. <br />VIOLATIONS. <br />(a) The owner or occupant of any dwelling who fails to, with an <br />order issued by the Public Officer or Housing Board of <br />Appeals, pursuant to provisions of this ordinance and in <br />which an appeal has not been filed, is guilty of a <br />misdemeanor. Penalties to be determined in accordance to <br />Section 17.5. <br />(b) Occupancy of a dwelling posted or placarded as provided in <br />section 17.2 of this ordinance shall constitute a <br />misdemeanor. Penalties to be determined in accordance to <br />17.5. <br />(a) Whenever a violation is denominated a misdemeanor under the <br />provisions of this ordinance, the Public Officer, either in <br />addition to or in lieu of other remedies, may initiate any <br />appropriate action or proceeding to prevent, restrain, <br />correct, or abate the violation or prevent the occupancy of <br />the dwelling involved. <br />17.5 PENALTIES <br />(a) Whenever the'Public Officer finds that a building is Unfit <br />for Human habitation or dangerous within the meaning of <br />
