This public hearing is being set for this <br />purpose. <br />Draft copies of the BOCC goals will be made available to the public <br />in the Commissioners' Office, Town Clerks' offices, and public <br />libraries one week prior to the public hearing date. Staff will <br />forward copies of the draft goals to various County appointed Boards <br />and Commissions for their comments. Staff will also notify.various <br />non - governmental agencies of the public hearing to afford them the <br />opportunity to offer their views about budget and goal priorities, <br />rather than to make specific requests for funding for 1992 -93. Staff <br />will issue a press release well in advance to assist in publicizing the <br />public hearing. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board of County <br />Commissioners approve the setting of a public hearing for March 9, <br />1992, in the Old County Courthouse in Hillsborough to receive public <br />comment on the BOCC proposed goals and FY 1992 -93 County budget <br />priorities. <br />
