The
objective of developing a strategic plan for human
services should be completed goal by mid -year.
The Task Force, HSAC, and the Human Services
Management Team are encouraging providers to obtain
formal endorsement of the mission statement from their
boards. Also, the Task Force will present a final
report with recommendations for a planning process to
the County Commissioners by June. Approval from the
towns, the county, and the United Way will be
necessary to implement the plan.
The Task Force will disband as a committee by that
time. Some Task Force members will continue working
under the structure of the new planning process.
RECOMMENDATION: Manager recommends that the Board receive the report
as information.
