S ` u mnlementation Timeline une I I I Hold 3rd Training Agency Oualifications The Orange County Rape Crisis Center has been in existence since 1974, and is recognized as a provider of unique and unduplicated support services for victims of sexual violence in Orange County. The Center works closely with the five law enforcement agencies in Orange County, the District Attorney's Office, the Emergency Room of UNC Hospitals, UNC Student Health Lad Psychological Services, Orange- Person- Chatham Mental Health Center, and the Orange County Department of Social Services - Child Protective Services, to assure the provision of coordinated services for victims of sexual violence in Orange County, This is accomplished by regular inter - agency in- service training on case management, interagency consultation and case referrals, and periodic formal inter- agency communications. Center staff and volunteers are highly - trained and supervised by the Center's Director. who in turn is directly responsible to the Center's Board of Directors.
