HODGES <br />COMMISSIONER OF MOTOR VEHICLES <br />This letter represents the memorandum of an understanding between <br />the Orange County and the Division of Motor Vehicles concerning <br />space for a Driver License Office in Carrboro, North Carolina, <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />(1) Orange County, subject to all of the terms and conditions <br />of the lease between Orange County and the owner of <br />Carrboro Plaza, agrees to provide unit number thirteen <br />(13) of the Plantation Plaza Shopping Center located at <br />the intersection of North Carolina Highway 54 By -Pass and <br />North Carolina Highway 54 Business in Carrboro as space <br />for a Driver License Office with the following services: <br />(a) Heating facilities, air - conditioning facilities, <br />electrical facilities, adequate lighting fixtures <br />and sockets, ventilation, hot and cold water <br />facilities and adequate toilet facilities <br />(b) General maintenance including plumbing repairs, <br />electrical repairs, etc. <br />(c) Adequate parking for driver license clients and <br />employees <br />(d) Water and sewer <br />(2) The Division of Motor Vehicles agrees to pay the cost of <br />utilities including heat, air - conditioning, telephone, <br />lights and water. 0 <br />
