ZI <br />An additional revision in Section 6.5 of the <br />Sick Leave policy covering transfers of Sick Leave <br />extends the coverage of the retroactivity provision. <br />Currently Sick Leave transfer for current employees <br />has been limited to transfers occurring July 1, 1985 <br />or after. This revision covers any transfer whether <br />before or after July 1, 1985 so long as it is from a <br />covered agency, occurred within 12 months of the <br />Orange Country permanent employment date and the Sick <br />Leave balance involved is verified by the former <br />employer. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends the Board adopt the attached <br />revision to the Personnel Ordinance effective <br />January 1, 1992. <br />
