JAN - 29--92 WED 15:41 JOHNSTON, 2ABOR Q ASSOC. P-05 <br />M MODOLOGY <br />Johnston, Zabor & Associates conducted 401 telephone interviews with registered voters of <br />Orange County. Telephone numbers were dialed randomly from the Chapel Hill and <br />Hillsborough phone books. <br />In an effort to approximate the voter regisistrati+on by school district, 281 interviews were <br />completed with residents of the Chapel Hill /Carrboro School District. The 115 were <br />completed with residents of the Orange County School District, representing a 7096/30% <br />distribution between the Chapel Hill/Cartbor+o and Orange County. All interviews tools place in the evenings between January 13 and <br />January 20, 1992. <br />The caller to supervisor ratio averages! 2.6 to 1. Approximately ten percent of the interviews <br />were monitored by a supervisor. All questionnaires were checked for completeness and <br />accuracy by Johnston, Zabor & Associates' field supervisors. incomplete questionnaires <br />were returned to the callers for callbacks. <br />All questionnaires were keypunched twice to insure accuracy. <br />2 <br />14 <br />
