The County of Orange has <br />been awarded capital funding for a total of $174,615, of which $132,972 <br />is Section 18 funds, $6,720 is State funds and $34,923 is local funds <br />for the purchase of one,(1) converted van with lift, three (3) standard <br />vans, two (2) center -aisle vans and two (2) mini -vans. <br />We have enclosed three (3) originals of the project agreement to be <br />executed between the County of Orange and the North Carolina Department <br />of Transportation. The attached resolution authorizes the Chairman of <br />the Orange County Board of Commissioners to enter into the agreement an <br />behalf of your agency. Please sign each copy of the agreement and have <br />your signature attested. If your agency has an official seal, each <br />agreement should be stamped with the seal. DO NOT DATE THE AGREEMENTS; <br />this will be done when they are executed in final form by the Department. <br />Please return all copies of the agreement. An executed copy will be <br />returned to you. <br />The project agreement calls for eighty (80X) percent federal <br />participation in capital expenses for Capital I and eighty (80X) percent <br />state participation for Capital II. Attached to the agreement is the <br />approved Project Budget (Appendix A). <br />No capital expenses may be incurred under this agreement until final <br />execution of the agreement by the Department.
