e <br />2 <br />r <br />PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDMENT <br />ORDINANCE: SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS <br />REFERENCE: SECTION V -D -6 -c (3) CERTIFICATES OF APPROVAL <br />ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH ENDORSEMENT <br />ORIGIN OF AMENDMENT: _x Staff Planning Board <br />BOCC Public <br />Other: <br />STAFF PRIORITY RECOMMENDATION: _x_ High Middle Low <br />Comment: <br />EXPECTED PUBLIC HEARING DATE: November 25, 1991 <br />PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT: <br />To revise the current language of the Environmental Health <br />Division certification for subdivisions. <br />IMPACTS /ISSUES: <br />The Environmental Health Division of the Orange County Health <br />Department is required to endorse all subdivision plats <br />certifying that the proposed lots, when public utilities are not <br />provided, are approved for sewage disposal through the <br />installation and use of surface sewage disposal systems. The <br />current endorsement is too general. <br />EXISTING AND 'PROPOSED ORDINANCE PROVISIONS: <br />Section V -D -6 -c certificates of Approval <br />(1) A Final Plat for a minor subdivision shall show the <br />following form for Planning Department endorsement: <br />"I hereby certify that the subdivision plat shown <br />hereon has been found to comply with the orange County <br />Subdivision Regulations. Provided that this plat shall <br />be recorded within six (6) months of -final approval, <br />approved by the Orange County Planning Department on <br />(Date)." <br />Planning Director or Authorized Agent <br />(2) A Final Plat for a major subdivision shall show the <br />following form for Planning Department endorsement: <br />
