11 <br />4. PUBLIC CONTACT DUTIES: <br />This position will require daily contact with health department clients and <br />their families and with other health department staff. Frequent and regular <br />contact will occur with other health and human service providers both <br />private and public in orange County and surrounding counties. Contact with <br />the general public could occur at any time during the performance of this <br />persons•s duties. <br />5. MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT: <br />BP cuff, stethoscope, lab instruments, syringes and blood collection <br />equipment, scales, vision and hearing testing equipment, automobile, <br />computer infrequently. <br />6. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: <br />Graduation from an accredited college or university with a B.S. Degree in <br />Nursing including a public health nurse rotation or graduation from an <br />accredited school of professional nursing and at least 1 year of nursing <br />experience. <br />7. LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE: <br />Possession of a current license as a Registered Nurse issued by the North <br />Carolina Board of Nursing.
