Some local agencies may be <br />able to add whole or fractional positions, to begin or extern convenience -haur <br />clinics, or to sort additional contract physician hours or aitreach <br />efforts. Programs seeking resources to begin Norplant services may consider <br />using expansion funds for that purpose. The funds may also be used to support <br />sterilizations for females or males. Division of MCH Regional Office staff are <br />available to assist you and should be contacted if FY92 Contract Addendum item <br />are affected. These expansion funds may not be used to replace other types of <br />funds. <br />As local, state and federal governments struggle to meet demands for services <br />with reduced budgets, our pr=j + has absorbed FY92 reductions in Title X and <br />has identified resaaxces that can be used to offset other possible FY92 budget <br />cuts that might jeoparcLIze expansion. For these reasors, t`�.a present <br />funds truly represent new monies rather than replacements for dollars cut <br />elsewhere.
