N <br />THE COUNTY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br />1. To respond to request for transportation services <br />requested by THE CORPORATION according to a protocol to be <br />contained in a letter or exchange of letters between THE <br />CORPORATION and Orange County Emergency Services. <br />2. To remain licensed by the State of North Carolina, <br />Office of Emergency Medical Services, Division of Facility <br />Services, Department of'Human Resources and any other <br />licensing agency as a provider of transportation services. <br />TERM OF AGREEMENT <br />This Agreement shall cover the period from the 1st day <br />of July 1989 to and including the 30th day of June, 1991. <br />TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT <br />This Agreement or its renewals may be terminated at any <br />time without penalty by either party, provided that written <br />notice of such termination is furnished to the other party at <br />least thirty (30) days prior to termination. The parties <br />agree and understand that the Director of Orange County <br />Emergency Services may temporarily.suspend the services under <br />this Agreement in the event of a disaster within the County <br />requiring substantially all of the medical transportation <br />resources available to Orange County. <br />A <br />
