In order to <br />complete the grant closeout process, the N.C. Department of <br />Economic and Community Development (ECD) requires that a <br />public hearing be held prior to official closeout of the <br />CDBG program to assess the performance of the County in <br />administering the grant program. <br />Therefore, the Housing and Community Development Staff is <br />requesting that December 2, 1991 be established as the <br />public hearing date to receive citizen comments prior to <br />grant closeout. <br />Residents of the community will be notified and will be <br />encouraged to participate. Notices will also be published <br />in the appropriate news media. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): <br />The Manager recommends: <br />Establish December 2, 1991 as the public hearing date to <br />receive citizen comments prior to official closeout of the <br />Rencher Street Community Development Block Grant Program. <br />
