P -55, SUB 952 ) PUBLIC STAFF - <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br />In the Matter of ) UTILITIES COMMISSION <br />Triangle J Regional Calling Plans ) <br />Orange County, by and through its attorney, submits this <br />Response to the Public Staff's October 28, 1991 Motion for <br />Reconsideration of the September 27, 1991 Order of the North <br />Carolina Utilities Commission. This Response is submitted pursuant <br />to the Commission's Order of October 31, 1991 granting all parties <br />until. November 27, 1991 in which to file their responses to the <br />Motion for Reconsideration. <br />Orange County contends that the Commission erred in denying <br />the request of the Public Staff for an order authorizing EAS <br />polling of the subscribers in the Hillsborough exchange and of the <br />subscribers in the Orange County portion of the Mebane Home <br />exchange. For the following reasons, Orange County urges the <br />Commission to reconsider its September 27, 1991 Order and supports <br />the Motion for Reconsideration filed herein by the Public Staff: <br />1.
