This petition has been <br />accepted by the North Carolina Utility Commission, so Orange County <br />now has official standing in the matter. <br />Under separate cover, the County Attorney is submitting a request for <br />reconsideration by the Utility Commission of its September 27, 1991 <br />decision denying Orange County EAS. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board authorize the <br />County Attorney to submit the request for reconsideration to the North <br />Carolina Utility Commission. <br />
