the telephone company. <br />C. DCI Query Interface <br />12 <br />c <br />A window on the display will provide the normal DCI interface <br />for the State Bureau of Investigation query data base. The <br />system will be accessed over a serial port using IBM 3270 <br />protocol. The DCI display will allow for keyboard entry of <br />queries by the dispatcher or for automatic query by name, <br />vehicle identifier, tag number or other data transfer from <br />Computer -Aided Dispatch. <br />D. Computer -Aided Dispatch <br />The Computer -Aided Dispatch elements of the system will be <br />accessible in single or multiple windows on the dispatcher <br />console display. Basic functions will include a calltaker <br />screen for dispatcher entry of incident data with automatic <br />form fill in of address, name and responding unit data <br />from the E911 ALI /ANI display. Critical stages of the <br />incident processing will be timestamped by the CAD system and <br />the incident will be recorded in a data base as it develops <br />and is completed.
