Amend SECTION IV -B -2 LAND S' <br />which require that building <br />driveways, and utilities be <br />from stormwater innundation <br />drainage easements, natural <br />technical means may used <br />JITABILITY by adding provisions <br />sites be provided and /or roads, <br />installed so as to be protected <br />and erosion. Mechanical devices, <br />buffers, large lots and /or other <br />to achieve this objective. <br />4. Amend SECTION V -C -5 UTILITY AND DRAINAGE DATA [PRELIMINARY <br />PLATS] by requiring that existing and proposed drainageways <br />and channels be shown on Preliminary Plats for Major <br />Subdivisions. <br />5. Amend SECTION V -D -5 UTILITY AND DRAINAGE DATA [MINOR PLATS] by <br />requiring that storm drainage.easements be shown on Minor <br />Subdivision Plats. <br />6. Amend SECTION IV -B REQUIRED MINIMUM DESIGN STANDARDS by adding <br />minimum standards which apply to lots larger than 10 acres in <br />size where such lots are included on the same plat with lots <br />10 or less acres in size. Where all lots on a plat are greater <br />than 10 acres in size, the standards do not apply. <br />7. Amend SECTION V -D FINAL PLAT by deleting outdated <br />specifications concerning plat sizes, drawing medium, plat <br />material, scale, and margins. The amendment will provide <br />consistency with N.C. General Statute 47 -30. <br />8. Amend SECTION V -D -6 -a CERTIFICATE OF SURVEY AND ACCURACY to <br />include wording that the proposed subdivision is within Orange <br />County's jurisdiction. The amendment will provide consistency <br />with N.C. General Statute 47 -30. <br />9. Amend SECTION V -D -6 -e CERTIFICATES OF APPROVAL to reword the <br />certification by the Orange County Health Department, <br />Environmental Health Division, to indicate that an area on <br />each lot has been tentatively designated for septic system <br />installation and repair. Such designation is not considered to <br />be an Improvements Permit nor approval of a septic system for <br />any lot in the subdivision. <br />All interested citizens are invited to attend this hearing and <br />be heard. Public comment will be received during the public <br />hearing. Following the close of the public hearing, only evidence <br />received in writing by the date of the Planning Board meeting <br />following the public hearing will be considered by the Board of <br />Commissioners for decision. <br />Changes may be made in the advertised proposals which reflect <br />debate, objections and discussion at the hearing. <br />
