NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />EXTENDED AREA TELEPHONE SERVICE, <br />A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION, AND <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AND SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS AMENDMENTS <br />FOR ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br />Pursuant to the requirements of the General Statutes of North <br />Carolina, Chapter 153A, 240, 323, and 343; Article 20, Sections <br />20.5 and 20.6, of the Orange County Zoning Ordinance; and Section <br />VIII of the Orange County Subdivision Regulations, notice is hereby <br />given that a public hearing will be held in the Superior Courtroom <br />of the Orange County Courthouse (New), 106 East Margaret Lane, <br />Hillsborough, North Carolina, on Monday, November 25, 1991, at 7 :30 <br />p.m. for the purpose of giving all interested citizens an <br />opportunity to speak for or against the following items: <br />EXTENDED AREA TELEPHONE SERVICE <br />See Page 3A. <br />PLANNED DEVELOPMENT APPLICATIONS <br />The Planned Development application to be considered is as <br />follows: <br />1. PD -1 -91 Stonegate Mobile Home Park <br />The property in question is located on Mount Herman Church <br />Road north of the Norfolk Southern Railroad and south of <br />Interstate Highway 85. The property contains 56.36 acres and <br />is specifically described as part of Lot 35 of Tax Map 26 in <br />Eno Township. The current zoning designation of the property <br />PD -H -R -4 [Planned Development Housing - Medium Intensity <br />Residential]. The proposed zonincr designation is the same_ <br />A modification of an existing Planned Development, Stonegate <br />Mobile Park, is proposed. The existing mobile home park was <br />approved with 114 mobile home spaces on October 4, 1982. <br />Sewage treatment was to be provided by a package treatment <br />plant. The applicant is proposing to remove ten [10] mobile <br />home spaces and change the type of sewage treatment from a <br />package plant to a spray irrigation system, thereby adding <br />19.86 acres to the park. The applicant also proposes to <br />relocate the well and recreation sites, and to delete a <br />proposed boat storage area, car wash, and laundry facilities. <br />
