Following the hearing, a final <br />selection of a preferred alternative will be made, and <br />a final EIS will be prepared. <br />The Planning Board discussed this project at their <br />quarterly long -range meeting on October 8, 1991 and <br />voted unanimously to recommend that the roadway be <br />located in Durham County where it would be better <br />aligned with US 15 -501 and the East /West Expressway. <br />RECOMM MATTOE: The Administration recommends adoption of the Planning <br />Board recommendation. The Administration further <br />recommends the Chair be authorized to sign the draft <br />letter to NCDOT regarding the County's position on the <br />proposed Northwest Loop. <br />DR9 : NW --LOOP .
