01 <br />ANIMAL CONTROL SATELLITE OFFICE CONT. <br />PG 2 OF 2 <br />Animal Control must oftentimes "borrow" time on other <br />department's computer equipment to print the necessary <br />documents relating to animal licensing revenue. <br />As the location of the satellite office is not an <br />established one, citizens many times visit the previous <br />location only to find that they cannot license their pets. <br />The Revenue Department must account for two <br />An nk deposits <br />made daily by Animal Control. Generally, the control <br />office will make one deposit daily. The transaction documents <br />from the satellite office must be mailed to the Revenue <br />Department in Hillsborough, being received days later. <br />When performing bank deposits the employee stationed at the <br />satellite office must leave the office. This leaves tags, <br />computer equipment and other supplies vulnerable. en <br />Revenue coe�h�dfundaharensecuredeuntilmthe nextabankhome <br />to ensure that <br />deposit. <br />SUMMARY <br />Citizen use and costs associated with the Animal Control <br />satellite office does not justify the expenditures made in <br />keeping this office open. <br />
