(a) Of the funds appropriated in this Title to the Departrnent of <br />18 Administration, $864,270 for 1991 -92 fiscal year and $864,270 for. 1992 -93 fiscal `e <br />19 shall only be used as provided by this section. Each regional council of government <br />20 or lead regional organization is allocated up to S48,015 each fiscal year, with the <br />21 actual amount calculated as provided in subsection (b) of this section. <br />22 (b) The funds shall be allocated as follows: A share of the nlaximum <br />23 548,015 each fiscal year shall be allocated to each county and smaller city based Or. <br />24 the most recent annual estimate of the Office of State Budget and Management of the <br />25 population of that. county (less the population of any larger city within that cour�tyj <br />26 or smaller city, divided by the sum of the total population of the region (less the <br />27 population of larger cities within that region) and the total population of the rebiorn <br />28 living in smaller cities. Those funds shall be paid to the regional council ol <br />29 'government for the region in which that city or county is located upon receipt by the <br />30 Department of Administration of a resolution of the governing board of the count_. o <br />31 city requesting release of the funds.
