t. <br />Lj <br />Pratt Case 116 summary <br />Location: Just east of Calvander at 431 Dairyland Road <br />violation: An automobile restoration (primarily for VW <br />Beetles) and repair business being operated <br />in the Rural Buffer (RB) zoning district, and <br />Storage of junked motor vehicles and automo- <br />tive parts and wreck remnants outdoors. <br />Background: Two neighbors - -one anonymous - -have complained <br />of vermin and snakes, noise, and storage of <br />junked motor vehicles and parts, including: <br />engines, fenders, hoods, trunk lids, front- <br />ends, chassis, axles, tires, oil and other <br />fluids, paints, machine tools, scrap metal, <br />and general trash on the property. <br />Mr. Pratt was sent a certified letter about <br />the violations on April 26, 1991. He was <br />asked to correct the violation by June 17, <br />1991. The Postal Service tried to deliver <br />the letter over a period of three weeks, but <br />was unable to do so. <br />On August 1, 1991, Pratt was sent another <br />letter, of which he acknowledged receipt.
