4 <br />Huriez Case 110 Summary <br />Location: Off West Ten with access via Squires Road <br />Violation: Storage of junked motor vehicles outdoors <br />Background: Neighbors complained of accumulating junked <br />motor vehicles in pasture land on the Hurley <br />property. <br />Mr. Hurley was contacted on April 10, 1991, <br />about the violation. He was requested to <br />have the vehicles removed on or before May <br />13, 1991. Progress to remove the junked <br />motor vehicles began and continued for a per- <br />iod of time, but full compliance was not <br />achieved. <br />Field inspection on July 22, 1991, revealed <br />that ten junked motor vehicles remained on <br />the property. On August 1, 1991, Mr. Hurley <br />was contacted again because work to remove <br />the vehicles had ceased. He was given a new <br />date to complete the removal - -on or before <br />September 2, 1991. No evidence of attempts <br />to comply have seen. <br />Status: Although some progress to correct the viola- <br />tion took place at a slow but consistent pace <br />after the first letter, there has been no ap- <br />parent progress in recent months.
