OPENING REMARKS FROM THE CHAIRMAN <br />B. PUBLIC CHARGE <br />The Board of Commissioners pledges to the citizens of Orange County its <br />respect. The Board asks its citizens to conduct themselves in a respectful, <br />courteous manner, both with the Board and any fellow citizens. At any time <br />should any member of the Board or any citizen fail to observe this public <br />charge, the Chair will ask the offending member. to leave the meeting until <br />that individual regains personal control. Should decorum fail to be <br />restored, the Chair will recess the meeting until such time that a genuine <br />commitment to this public charge is observed. <br />NOTE: ITEM C - JOINT PLANNING PUBLIC HEARING involves the Orange County <br />Board of Commissioners and Planning Board, and the governing boards of the <br />Towns of Chapel Hill and Carrboro. ITEM D - ORANGE COUNTY PUBLIC HEARING <br />involves the Orange County Board of Commissioners and Planning Board. <br />THE PROCEDURE WILL BE TO CONSIDER THE JOINT PLANNING AREA LAND USE PLAN AND <br />MAP AMENDMENTS AND THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND MAP AMENDMENTS FOR AMERICAN <br />STONE AND THEN TO CONSIDER THE SAME FOR THE NEW HOPE CORRIDOR OPEN SPACE <br />MASTER PLAN. AT THE CONCLUSION I WILL THEN ENTERTAIN A MOTION FOR THE JOINT <br />PLANNING AREA LAND USE PLAN AND MAP AMENDMENTS FOR THESE TWO ITEMS AND ALSO <br />A MOTION FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND MAP AMENDMENTS FOR THESE TWO ITEMS. <br />JOINT PLANNING AREA LAND USE PLAN AND MAP AMENDMENTS and the <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN LAND USE ELEMENT AND MAP AMENDMENTS <br />AMERICAN STONE COMPANY - MARVIN COLLINS <br />Comments from Roger Walton or Roy Williford <br />Questions or comments from any member of the governing board <br />Questions or comments from any member of the planning boards <br />Citizen Comments <br />
