The fees would vary based on the size, <br />type, and complexity of the system. <br />Please note that specific funding options are being developed <br />..by Environmental Health staff is conjunction with the Budget <br />Department. These determinations will be provided in a later <br />report. <br />PROPOSED IMPLEMENTATION SCHEDULE FOR THE MMA PROGRAM <br />With the start -up in the program, all new, repaired, or re- <br />inspected systems n classes I, II, and IV would be put under <br />the MMA program. Any system originally permitted through <br />another agency would be added as soon as the board of health <br />gains authority. At least one new field staff person would <br />be needed to begin training for the program. <br />In six months after start -up, inspections (biannual and <br />quarterly) on system classes III, V, VI, and VII would begin. <br />Staff (field and clerical) would be increased according to <br />projection from first months' records. <br />In one year following start -up, all routine inspections <br />except for conventional systems should be underway. The <br />process of sampling effluent, streams, and monitor wells <br />should begin at this time. <br />In five years following start -up, routine inspections of <br />conventional systems would begin. <br />28 <br />
