DI M a � IT <br />The functions to be performed by OCBOH or its designee are <br />described as follows: <br />�. National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) <br />Duties - As will be more specifically described and <br />provided in the annual work plan for non - municipal NPDES <br />sources: <br />A. Conduct on -site investigations during the initial <br />application phase of the permitting process. <br />B. Conduct on -site inspections during the construction of <br />permitted facilities. <br />C. Sample, analyze and interpret NPDES discharge and <br />water quality parameters. DEM Laboratory protocols <br />will be followed and all lab facilities utilized must <br />be certified under the DEM certification program. <br />D. Sample, analyze and interpret ambient stream <br />parameters and groundwater parameters, where <br />appropriate. <br />E. Receive and interpret self monitoring data from NPDES <br />sources. These data will be supplied by DEM on a <br />periodic basis. <br />F. Investigate complaints and incidents involving NPDES <br />permit holders. <br />G. Provide operations inspections of permitted <br />facilities. <br />H. Prepare and transmit all inspection and enforcement <br />
