HOW DO WE PRESERVE IT? <br />Our guest speaker, Dr, George Constantz, will describe the structure <br />and function of a river from an ecological perspective and will suggest <br />ways to protect the health of a river system. He has been working on the <br />Lost River and Cacapon River in West Virginia for the last six years. Dr. <br />Constantz is Director of the Pine Cabin Run Ecological Laboratory. <br />12 :00 Noon <br />PICNIC LUNCH <br />Bring a bag lunch; get to know your neighbors! Punch provided. <br />1:30 - 3:30 p.m. HIKES ALONG THE CREEK <br />Including a "Stream Watch" (water monitoring) demonstration. <br />SATURDAY, MARCH 30 19 9 z <br />at the New Hope Volunteer.
