FA <br />Expansion of any segment of the Efland sewer system, as <br />indicated on the Efland area master sewer plan. would be a <br />substantial construction project. The construction costs <br />for Phases I through_V range from a low of $92,000 to a <br />high of $893.000. The cost of construction for sewering <br />for most of the rest of Efland is projected to total nearly <br />1.7 million dollars. If monthly sewer billings are to <br />represent the entire source o -f revenue to pay all <br />construction costs, operation and maintenance expenses. <br />etc., Efland will have by the far the highest sewer rates <br />in the state. The attached report presents some potential <br />construction funding scenarios and outlines the potential <br />revenue outlook for both the existing and expanded system. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS The Manager recommends that the Board receive this <br />report as information. <br />
