`A <br />(5) The Commission for Women has received $200 from the <br />Chapel Hill Carrboro Council for Women0s <br />Organizations. This money will allow the Commission <br />to sponsor support programs for women in Orange <br />County. <br />(6) The Domestic Violence program has been notified that <br />it will receive an additional $2,975 in State grant <br />funds for the 1991 -92 fiscal year. The attached grant <br />project ordinance will increase appropriated grant <br />funds from $38,454 to $41,429 and authorize program <br />expenditures through June 30, 1992. <br />(7) The Little River Fire District has received a grant <br />from the Greater Triangle Community Foundation for <br />$1,521. This grant will be used to pay costs <br />associated with a Community Emergency Communication <br />Awareness Project. The attached budget amendment will <br />appropriate these funds to the fare district. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): <br />The Manager recommends that the Board approve the attached <br />amendments to the 1991 -92 Budget Ordinance and approve the <br />attached Domestic Violence Program Grant Project <br />Ordinance. <br />
