PA <br />Note: The City of Durham has recently added recorders to pick up their <br />radio transmisison to meet this accreditation criteria. <br />2. It is obvious by the comments made by Communications <br />Specialists in their August 27, 1991 letter that there is some <br />confusion surrounding what bidders were told during their site visit to <br />the 911 Center. Whether in fact bidders were provided different <br />information has not been substantiated, however if reasonable doubt <br />exists it is prudent of us to exercise our right to reject any and all <br />bids. <br />Based on the preceding information; the recommendation is made that <br />the County reject all bids and resolicit bids with the named issues <br />being clarified. If the Board accepts this recommendation, the time <br />table in which to rebid will be as follows: <br />Sept 17, 1991; Board rejects bids. <br />Sept 20, 1991; Re -bid is advertised and bids are available <br />to bidders. <br />Sept 25, 1991; Pre -bid conference is held to clarify any <br />outstanding issues; <br />Oct 3, 1991; Bids are received. <br />Oct 11, 1991; Evaluation of bids is completed. • <br />Oct 22, 1991; Bids are recommended for award. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends that the County exercise its <br />right to reject any and all bids. <br />
