It <br /> is different from an7'Au9 ust'`•14,. 1991:' draft in Rthat it divides the <br /> Cooperative Planningg"AFea into-a�;transition ,area and an open <br /> space area doing away with any reference,'%'even for illustrative <br /> purposes, of the Orange County Rural Character Committee <br /> development options. It also expressly states that the <br /> transition area contains land likely to be annexed by <br /> Hillsborough in the foreseeable future. Finally, it clarifies <br /> that either party may withdraw from the agreement upon 30 days , <br /> written notice to the other party at any time before adoption by <br /> Orange County and Hillsborough of the Cooperative Planning Area <br /> Land Use Plan and the Cooperative Planning Area Land Use Map. No <br /> public hearing is required for withdrawal before those two key <br /> documents are adopted. Thereafter, the withdrawal period is one <br /> year after written notice from the withdrawing party to the other <br /> which notice follows a public hearing on the proposed withdrawal. <br /> The Board of County Commissioners appreciates the <br /> observations made by Bob Rose at the August 21, 1991 County <br /> YOU COUNT IN ORANGE COUNTY ! <br />
