The EMC has proposed <br />preliminary classifications for each of the 11 water <br />supply watersheds that are completely or partially <br />within the county's boundaries. The proposed <br />classifications as proposed by the EMC are as <br />follows: <br />Watershed <br />Upper Eno <br />Lower Eno <br />Flat River <br />Little River <br />Cane Creek <br />University Lake <br />Back Creek <br />Haw Creek <br />Haw River <br />Jordan Lake <br />South Hyco Creek <br />Proposed EMC <br />Classification <br />WS -IV <br />WS -IV <br />WS -II <br />WS -II <br />WS -II <br />WS -II <br />WS -II <br />WS -II <br />WS -IV <br />WS -IV <br />WS -II <br />
