UNIVERSITY LAKE WATERSHED <br />F. Operation and maintenance of detention ponds or other engineered stormwater controls <br />will require oversight by the County. This will require development and implementation <br />of a monitoring program by the Erosion Control Division and/or County Engineer. <br />G. No area within the watershed is designated for non - residential use in the Land Use <br />Element of the Comprehensive Plan. The proposed regulations pertaining to non- <br />residential watershed coverage and impervious surface would have little impact. <br />H. The portion of the watershed in Chatham County has 50 -foot setbacks (not vegetative <br />buffers) along all intermittent streams. The lot size in this area is 90,000 sf (2.1 acres). <br />I. The Town of Chapel Hill does have a small portion of University Lake within its <br />jurisdiction, along Smith Level Road. <br />J. OWASA may recommend that the EMC classify this watershed as a "critical <br />watershed" - in order to reflect the more stringent measures currently in place. <br />3S <br />
