z <br />As a target schedule, staff are working towards developing a rough <br />impact fee model by early November. This would then be discussed with <br />staffs of other local governments.in the County, and the resulting <br />product would be presented for initial Commissioner review and <br />direction sometime in December. County staff would then take direction <br />from the Board and work with appropriate community representatives to <br />develop a final recommendation for a reasonable impact fee schedule. A <br />public hearing on this recommendation could be held in February, or <br />sometime thereafter, with Board approval of a final impact fee schedule <br />in place for FY 1992 -93. <br />County staff will be prepared to respond to questions or discussion <br />points during the August 20 meeting. <br />RECOMMENDATION(8): The Manager recommends that the Board receive and <br />discuss the report and provide any direction to staff that it deems <br />appropriate at this time on the subject of impact fees. <br />
