91 <br />For equity reasons, it is recommended that this <br />transfer provision be applied retroactively for current <br />employees to July 1, 1985 (the date the Personnel <br />Ordinance first permitted transfer of Sick Leave). <br />New Section 6.2 - This revised section provides that <br />Sick Leave may be used for appointments with the <br />Employee Assistance Program provider. This clarifies <br />the current policy and supports employee access to the <br />Employee Assistance Program. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends the Board accept the report as <br />information. The Manager will recommend the Board <br />adopt the proposed revisions at its September 3, 1991 <br />meeting. <br />
