N <br />The standardized contract will be used for the to of 12 fire districts <br />in Orange County that are served by volunteer non - profit corporations. <br />Agreements for the South Orange and Chapel Hill Fire Districts will be <br />updated in the future with the Towns of Carrboro and Chapel Hill, which <br />provide service to the former and latter fire districts, respectively. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board of <br />Commissioners: approve the general form and content of the proposed <br />standardized fire service contract; and authorize the Chair to sign <br />individual contracts with each volunteer fire department as they are <br />completed. <br />
