A final recommendation of the Planning Board is that <br />discussions be held with the Town of Hillsborough <br />about the methods used to provide water and sewer <br />infrastructure to outlying areas, including the <br />source of water. <br />At its August 5, 1991 meeting, the Board of <br />Commissioners considered the recommendation of the <br />Planning Board. It was the concensus of the Board to <br />adhere to the time schedule outlined in Chairman <br />Carey's July 5, 1991 memorandum. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends that the Board <br />withhold inclusion of the I -40 /South Churton <br />Street area and the area bounded generally by U.S. <br />70 Bypass, U.S. 70 Business, and Lawrence Road in <br />the Hillsborough Transition Area. <br />The Administration further recommends that the <br />Board of Commissioners adhere to the steps outlined <br />in the Chair's July 5, 1991 memorandum, including <br />the County Attorney's drafting of a formal <br />agreement for consideration of approval. A change <br />is recommended, however, in the time schedule <br />proposed by the Chair.
