11 <br />T <br />MOTION: <br />VOTE: <br />June 17, 1991 Planning Board Minutes <br />the $117.00 would not have to be paid again, <br />only the $60.00 fee. She indicated this <br />would be reviewed and rewritten prior no <br />submittal for public hearing. <br />Waddell asked if the Board could recommend <br />approval of the amendment without the <br />appropriate fee structure. Eidenier <br />responded yes. Scearbo noted than the fee <br />issue would have to go through the Normal <br />process for public hearing in August. She <br />noted also that a fee for site plans could <br />also be presented at the public hearing. <br />More discussion indicated that was no fee at <br />this time for re- approval but that the <br />amendment could be recommended for approval. <br />Scearbo reminded the Board that the fee issue <br />will be presented at public hearing on <br />August 26. <br />Waddell moved approval of the proposed <br />amendment as recommended by the Planning <br />Staff. Seconded by Jobsis. <br />Unanimous. <br />C. NEW HOPE CORRIDOR OPEN SPACE MASTER PLAN <br />Presentation by Emily Cameron. <br />ollowing the consultant's presentation an <br />the Public hearing on May 28, !991, <br />discussion included endorsement of bike <br />paths, protecting open space between Durham <br />and Hillsborough, and a landfill site under <br />consideration that overlaps part of the New <br />hope Corridor. <br />The Planning Staff recommends that the <br />following steps be taken toward <br />implementation of the New Hope Corridor Open. <br />Space Master Plan: <br />1. Incorporate the Plan as an element of the <br />Comprehensive Plan for Orange County; and <br />2. Direct the Planning Staff to coordinate <br />with the Chapel Hill Planning Staff and <br />propose appropriate amendments to the <br />Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan, <br />including recommendations from the New <br />Hope Corridor Master Plan. <br />Both items 1 and 2 can be included as Dart cf the <br />9 <br />
