M <br />ORANGE COUNTY C.A.T. PROGRAM <br />VEHICLE LEASE AGREEMENT <br />This agreement entered into this 1 day of July, 1991 by and <br />between the Joint Orange-Chatham_ Community Action, Inc., hereinafter <br />referred to as JOCCA and County of Orange, hereinafter referred to <br />as The County. <br />The purpose of this agreement is to outline the conditions un- <br />der which the JOCCA and The Count will cooperatively provide human <br />service transportation to Orange County's elderly, infirmed, and <br />disadvantaged as a participating member of the C.A.T. (Coordinated <br />Agency Transportation) system. <br />SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF <br />JOCCA <br />1. To lease the following identified vehicles or similar size <br />at the hours specified: <br />1984 International Bus (24 pass.) ATF -4104 <br />CAT #23 <br />CAT #13, Lic. 91940 --P <br />pass.) CAT #10, Lic. 8223 -P <br />County of Oranae <br />1. To provide all gas, proper maintenance, repairs and insurance <br />(liability /collision --- minimum of 900 of replacement cost) on <br />leased vehicles. Proof of insurance and coverage limits shall <br />be submitted to the Aging ,Director within 10 days of contract <br />approval. <br />2. To operate and schedule the use of the leased vehicle(s) on be- <br />half of human service clients and approved groups, according <br />to the Orange County Transportation Board and approved by the <br />County Commissioners. <br />3. To allow C.A.T. program agencies access (time /ridesharing) to <br />leased vehicle(s) when not scheduled for use at a rate esta- <br />blished by the Orange County Transportation Board and approved <br />by the County Commissioners. <br />4. To complete all required vehicle operation reports and submit <br />to the Orange County C.A.T. Supervisor in the Department on <br />Aging. <br />PAGE 1 OF 2 <br />
