10 . <br />11. <br />12 . <br />Provide funds for official <br />travel necessary in the <br />conduct of Extension work <br />to the extent that funds I <br />are available and for <br />purposes authorized by <br />State and Federal policies. <br />Provide Extension agents <br />with official envelopes,• <br />bulletins (designated for <br />free distribution),.1eaf- <br />lets, and other publica- <br />tions for educational <br />purposes. <br />Accept responsibility and <br />provide the leadership fox <br />administration and <br />supervision for Extension <br />programs and personnel, <br />including compliance with <br />the requirements of <br />Affirmative Action and <br />Equal Employment <br />Opportunity guidelines. <br />13. Develop and administer a <br />personnel management plan <br />that will provide for: <br />a. The annual review of <br />each worker's <br />performance. <br />b. Counseling for job <br />improvement where <br />needed. <br />c. Periodic county -- <br />program reviews. <br />14. Provide a staff of <br />specialists to continu- <br />ously train agents in <br />t t h l d <br />15. Provide Extension workers <br />with training programs as <br />needed to maintain effective <br />program delivery. <br />16. Develop and maintain a <br />County Advisory Leadership <br />System to insure that county <br />Extension programs are <br />based on the particular <br />needs of people in their <br />respective county. <br />The Board of County <br />Commissioners will: <br />1. Provide the county's share of <br />salaries for Extension <br />personnel. <br />2. Provide office space and <br />equipment, utilities, <br />telephone, office supplies, <br />demonstration materials and <br />other items needed for <br />efficient operation of the <br />County Extension Office and <br />program. <br />3. <br />Review and consider the <br />annual budget request from <br />the Extension Service and <br />take appropriate action by <br />July 1 of each fiscal year. <br />Curren ec no ogy an <br />other changes affecting <br />agriculture, home economi" s, 4.
