To provide phone consultation during regular Health Department <br />hours to OCHD staff regarding treatment and follow -up of adolescent <br />clients seen in the clinic or at school. <br />d. To review the adolescent health activities of Mrs. Betty Compton <br />(see #2) and sign her charts as appropriate. <br />2. A family nurse practitioner, Mrs. Betty Compton, Clinical Assistant <br />Professor of Pediatrics, will provide adolescent health services in the <br />adolescent clinic in Hillsborough one half day each week (4 hours) on <br />Wednesday afternoons. A fully trained nurse practitioner or <br />pediatrician will be provided from the staff of the Division of <br />Community Pediatrics on those occasions when Mrs. Compton is unable to <br />attend. Mrs. Compton's function will be: <br />a. To provide medical services for adolescents. <br />b. To provide consultation to OCHD staff on matters pertaining to the <br />adolescent health program including the collaborative development <br />of adolescent health protocols. <br />3. The Department will maintain current registration and licensure and <br />warrant such to the OCHD. <br />4. The Department will insure self for malpractice. <br />5. The Department will relate to all patients and staff of the OCHD in a <br />professional and instructional manner. <br />6. The Department will offer medical consultation in accord with the <br />accepted methods and procedures. <br />7. The Health Department will reimburse quarterly the University's <br />Department of Pediatrics at an annual rate of for partial <br />salaries, fringe benefits, and related travel of pediatric faculty .and <br />
