impose civil penalties on violators of the statewide rules. <br />Current status: %T-uly 1991 <br />Since the adoption of this act, several of the mandated activities <br />have occurred. A synopsis of these events is given below: <br />7 -15 -90 Proposed minimum rules, classifications and <br />standards taken to public hearing. <br />12 -13 -90 EMC adopts minimum rules, classifications and <br />standards for all water supply watersheds. <br />2 -1 -91 (DEM) requests watershed data from all local <br />governments (to be used in preliminary <br />classification process). Suggested classifications <br />also requested from local government staffs. <br />3 -15 -91 Watershed data /classifications submitted to DEN. <br />4 -29-91 DEN presents Preliminary Watershed Classifications <br />for all water supply watersheds to EMC. <br />5 -9 -91 EMC approves taking preliminary classifications to <br />public hearings across state in mid - August. <br />As noted above, <br />classifications of <br />taking these propoe <br />state.
