In preparing the <br />response, the Board of Commissioners will consider the comments <br />received at the public hearing. <br />SPECIAL USE PERMIT APPLICATIONS <br />The application for a Special Use Permit to be considered is <br />as follows: <br />1. SUP -1 -91 Green Hill Bread & Breakfast <br />A bed and breakfast establishment is proposed on property <br />located on the southwest corner of U.S. Highway 70 Bypass and <br />Lawrence Road (SR 1561). The property contains 6.46 acres, <br />specifically described as Lots 66 and 67 of Tax Map 20 in Eno <br />Township. The existing zoning classification is R -1 - Rural <br />Residential. Bed and breakfast establishments are permitted in this <br />district upon the approval of a Special Use Permit by the Board of <br />County Commissioners. <br />ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENTS <br />The proposed amendments to the Orange County Zoning Ordinance <br />are as follows: <br />1. Amend ARTICLE 4.3 PERMITTED USE TABLE by expanding the number <br />of zoning districts in which the sales and rental of new and <br />used motor vehicles to include Existing Industrial, <br />Industrial -1, Industrial -2, and Industrial -3. Such uses are <br />currently permitted in General Commercial -4 and Existing <br />Commercial -5 zoning districts. <br />2. Amend ARTICLE 7 PLANNED DEVELOPMENTS by removing provisions <br />which allow density bonuses where planned development projects <br />include housing for low and moderate - income families. The <br />provisions are to be moved to ARTICLE 6 APPLICATION OF <br />DIMENSIONAL REQUIREMENTS where a new section 6.27 [Affordable <br />Housing] is proposed.
