Re- Approval of Expired Preliminary Plans <br />b. Site Plan Approval <br />Approval of the notice will permit advertisement on <br />August 14 and 21, 1991 as required the N.C. General <br />Statutes. The Special Use Permit application will <br />require notification of individual property owners. <br />The notice must be mailed on or before August 14, <br />1991. <br />The Planning Board considered the proposed <br />ordinance text amendments at its July 15, 1991 <br />meeting and recommended that they be presented at <br />the August 26, 1991 public hearing for citizen <br />comment. <br />Revisions have been made to the Zoning Ordinance <br />and Subdivision Regulations amendments pertaining <br />to vested rights. The revisions would require any <br />applicant who wishes to have his /her project <br />"vested" to secure a special use permit. This <br />process is easier to administer rather than <br />creating separate hearing processes for each type <br />of project application. It is also a process which <br />permits the Board of Commissioners to approve <br />projects with conditions. <br />RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends approval of the <br />Notice of Public Hearing for August 26, 1991. <br />
